The links below provide information on how students can access scholarships and financial aid information. Many of the scholarships are available digitally through an online platform in partnership with the Wayne County Community Foundation. Also included below is a link to the FAFSA website for students to apply for financial aid. Some scholarships require a student aid Index (SAI) to be submitted. The SAI can only be accessed once the FAFSA is completed.
The Wayne County Community Foundation scholarships will be available starting on Monday, December 15.
Remember to pay attention to scholarship deadlines! The deadline to complete scholarships through the Wayne County Community Foundation online portal is Sunday, March 15.

Students will have access to scholarships that are only available to Dalton students as well as scholarships available to all students in Wayne County.

Five scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to students who have been involved in at least one full season of a sport at Dalton High School. Additional criteria is available in the application.
Dalton Student Service Scholarship

One $200 scholarship is available a for graduating senior from the class of 2026 who is currently a member of the Dalton High School student council. Applicants must exemplify the values of student service to the student body and community. This student must show cooperation, leadership, responsibility, civic involvement, and courtesy towards others.
J & Co. Hair Studio and Spa Scholarship

This $250-$500 scholarship will be given to a Dalton High School senior who plans to attend a trade school, certification program, or pursue full-time employment.
Lelless Lawn Care Scholarship

The Dove Scholarship

This one-time, $500 scholarship shall be given to a student who plans to continue their educational career at a college, university or trade school.

Applicants must be a high school senior enrolled in a public school district (local, city, exempted village, Joint Vocational School District/Career Technical Center or STEM) - within the ESC’s service region. Recipients should demonstrate outstanding academic achievement as indicated by high school grades, test scores, community service, and school activities and awards. Educational Service Centers shall select one awardee per ESC (multi-county ESCs may select one awardee per county for local recognition but only one awardee per county will be recognized at the state-level event).
Ian Minnick Memorial (Music and the Arts) Scholarship

The Ian's Legacy Foundation awards a renewable $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who is continuing their studies in music or the arts.
Junior Achievement Scholarship

Any student who has participated in junior achievement is eligible to apply for these scholarships. If you attended the career fair, took financial literacy, or participated in real money/real world in 8th grade then you have participated in a junior achievement program. One scholarship is available for students planning to go directly into a career or trade program. The other scholarship is available for students planning to attend a college or university
Ken Black Memorial Scholarship

Linda J. Dews Scholarship for Christian Nurses

Order of the Eastern Star Scholarship

This $600 scholarship is available to a Wayne County high school student who will graduate in 2026 and will be enrolled in a college/university next school year.
Orrville Lions Club North Scholarship

Quota of Wayne County Scholarship

This scholarship is available for a student planning to pursue a degree in the field of speech, language, hearing, or related field of benefit to the speech and hearing community. Typically this award is at least $1,000.
A second scholarship is available for a student planning to pursue a degree in a STEM field.
Richard B. Koehler Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship provides up to $1,200 in financial assistance for eligible citizens of Wayne County, Ohio who desire to further their education beyond high school in the fields of Natural Resources or, Soil and Water Conservation, Forestry, Wildlife Biology, Parks and Recreation, and Environmental Sciences.
School Nutrition Association Scholarship

SNA Chapter 76 of the Greater Stark County Area will offer an opportunity for $500 scholarships to those qualified students pursuing an education in the area of food service, dietetics, nutrition, or other food-related degrees. The number of scholarships awarded will depend on the balance in the treasury and the number of qualified applicants. A committee to judge who may be awarded a scholarship will be appointed by the scholarship Chair if there are sufficient applicants.
The Dan Laubacher Memorial Foundation Annual Scholarship

Victor Gerber Memorial Music Scholarship
